Our very own Kaleidoscope Collection author Gaynell Jamison was featured in this month's issue of SEA Life magazine. Gaynell is a reading specialist at the Monticello School District in Arkansas. She has written five books for the collection:
She aims to bring diversity to her titles, and the Kaleidoscope Collection has been the perfect outlet for that. Made up of 150 leveled readers covering fiction and nonfiction with topics ranging from cultural events to the natural world to family dynamics, and showing people from many backgrounds, the Kaleidoscope Collection allows teachers to combine Reading Recovery and the Common Core State Standards while keeping things fun, colorful and interesting.
